Alliance Blend is a blend of three premium perennial ryegrasses from Turf-Seed. Alliance Blend is ideal for home and commercial lawns, fall overseeding of bermudagrass, overseeding to improve quality or repair damaged turf, lawn renovation, sports turf, parks, fairways and tees, and all areas where a quality perennial ryegrass blend is required. 

Birdie Blend perennial ryegrass is ideally suited for the fall overseeding of warm season turfgrass, such as bermuda and zoysia. With quick germination and establishment, Birdie Blend provides a beautiful, dark green perennial ryegrass playing surface during the winter months for both golf and sports turf applications in the Southwest, South, and Southeastern climates. In the spring, a quick transition aids the recovery of bermudagrass turf affording a faster turn around to a uniform playing surface.

Featuring a low, upright growth habit and very uniform density, Brightstar SLT performs well in a wide range of soil types with a pH range of 5.5–8.0. Brightstar SLT establishes quickly and exhibits very good heat tolerance. Naturally bred from plant survivors subjected to intense salt bath screenings, Brightstar SLT exhibits superior salt tolerance ideal for conditions involving effluent water, desert climates, and saline conditions.

Catalina II perennial ryegrass features outstanding turf quality for all perennial ryegrass situations. With its dark green color, excellent overall disease resistance, and good wear tolerance, Catalina II is an ideal component for all perennial ryegrass blends and mixtures.

CBS II is a Turf-Seed tradition when it comes to high quality perennial ryegrass overseeding blends. Ideal for the fall overseeding of bermudagrass turf in the Southwest, South, and Southeast, CBS II has been used by the golf professional for nearly 20 years. Updated yearly to include the best varieties, CBS II provides solid establishment, great winter performance, and improved spring transition.

Chaparral II perennial ryegrass is an extremely dark green, elite variety. With a dense, compact, low growth habit, Chaparral II is ideal for low mow golf and sports turf applications. Extremely heat tolerant, Chaparral II exhibits good summer performance in the dry, arid climates of the West.

Charger II displays a low growth profile, high density, and fine texture with a dark green color. It performs well in a variety of soil types and geographical areas, and it demonstrates good disease resistance. With good winter performance and improved cold tolerance, Charger II is ideally suited to overseeding dormant bermudagrass because it transitions so well.

Featuring Top 10 performance in the 2001 NTEP perennial ryegrass data, Citation Fore performs best in full sun to light shade. It has moderate salt tolerance and exhibits excellent traffic tolerance. Citation Fore performs exceptionally well in both permanent turf and fall overseeding situations.

Gray Fox has excellent resistance to gray leaf spot, stem rust, and good resistance to other turfgrass diseases like pythium blight, brown patch/bipolaris, leaf spot, dollar spot, and red thread. Gray Fox also shows moderate salt tolerance and rates high in turf quality trials throughout the U.S. making it ideal for landscapes, golf courses, and sports fields.

Gray Goose is bred for excellent resistance to gray leaf spot, stem rust and good resistance to crown rust. It provides outstanding turf quality making it great for many applications including landscapes, golf courses, sports fields, and others. Gray Goose also exhibits a beautiful medium green color and has good heat tolerance and high endophyte content.

Gray Hawk is an innovative blend of three elite turf-type perennial ryegrasses, developed by Pure-Seed Testing, Inc. especially for outstanding resistance to gray leaf spot. Quick Trans features exceptional turf quality and very dark green color. With fast establishment, it forms an even, playable ryegrass surface during the cooler months and then transitions smoothly in the spring, allowing the bermudagrass to quickly reestablish. Quick Trans is ideally suited for the fall overseeding of bermudagrass in southern climates. 

Quicksilver displays fast establishment, a low-growth habit, and very dark blue-green color. It is adapted to soil with a pH range of 5.5–7.0. It tolerates low levels of glyphosate, has moderate endophyte content for insect resistance, and exhibits good stem rust and crown rust resistance. With its high wear tolerance and outstanding turf quality, Quicksilver is an excellent choice for winter overseeding.

Quickstart II, developed by Pure-Seed Testing, Inc., has good disease resistance, establishes rapidly, and is an excellent choice for winter overseeding.

Salinas has a dark green color, a very fine blade width, and excellent turf performance with good salt tolerance. Its salt tolerance lends itself to fall overseeding programs in the desert Southwest and other areas affected by salinity. With quick establishment, it provides a beautiful, wear-tolerant playing surface with a smooth spring transition.

SaltEase is an innovative blend of three elite turf-type perennial ryegrasses, developed by Pure-Seed Testing, Inc., especially for outstanding salt tolerance. Each of these varieties has individually documented success growing in high-saline environments. Derived from a cold tolerant collection that was crossed with gray leaf spot survivors from North Carolina, Showtime has shown very good winter color retention and cold weather performance. 

Showtime is ideal for all perennial ryegrass applications including overseeding damaged perennial ryegrass turf or fall overseeding of bermudagrass turf in southern climates.

Silver Dollar has an incredibly dark green color and a very low growth habit with a very uniform and dense turf. Available in Turf-Seed's exclusive Gray Hawk blend, Silver Dollar represents another breakthrough perennial ryegrass, exhibiting our strongest resistance to gray leaf spot. Silver Dollar forms a fast-establishing turf with very good traffic tolerance. Performing well under both low and high maintenance regimes, and tolerant of mowing heights to 0.5” in permanent turf, Silver Dollar fits virtually all perennial ryegrass requirements.
